Sorry Wikipedia - I love you to bits but this is JUST PLAIN WRONG.  IMHO, Social Selling isn't a return to relationship selling.  

Social selling is a mechanism to create a professional profile, a public brand, an opinion.  Clients don't want to buy product - they want education / challenging / to learn from the salesperson.  

Please please please - don't think social selling is just connections - it's about being a leader and having followers ;-)
